I bought some flour from the bulk Health Food shop today and was shocked to read the ingredients. When did flour stop being purely a ground grain?
I made pasta for dinner tonight, a purchased organic pasta rather than home made. I kept wondering what was actually in the pasta. But the sauce of sweet sauted leeks, chickpeas, pesto, chopped herbs, evo, black pepper, a little chilli, bococcini AND some melted-in thick thick but creamy tangy yoghurt — it was divine. There is enough left over for lunch tomorrow.
